Freight Two has signed the first agreement with the freight car producer
JSC ”Freight Two” rail transport operator and Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant have signed a five year agreement for cooperation in the sphere of the implementation of innovative products of railway engineering capable to ensure high economic efficiency of railway transportation.
Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant is the first railway car building enterprise to sign such a contract with Freight Two.
According to the agreement Freight Two is going to acquire freight cars from the plant for the period 2011-2012, including the ones with the innovative bogie type Barber S-2-R.
Besides, Tikhvin plant will supply to the rail operator Freight Two freight gondolas equipped with bogies Barber S-2-R 23.5 and 25 axial load which passed the certification tests.
Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant is the largest industrial facility under construction in Europe in the sphere of machine building with the investment volume of over USD 1 bln. This year the enterprise has already signed the agreements for the supply of the new generation railroad equipment with Freight One and Transgarant (part of FESCO Transportation Group).
