The Labor Productivity National Project is the largest federal program. It aims to increase the competitiveness of Russian goods and services, creating a culture of high productivity and efficiency among employees of organizations in every region of the Russian Federation. The project's primary goal is to ensure at least a 5% growth in labor productivity at medium and large enterprises in the basic non-resource sectors of the economy by 2024.

The participation of TVSZ in the national project is the support of the project by the largest producer of new generation railcars in Russia and an opportunity to transfer the unique experience of the enterprise in terms of implementation and development of the production system in current conditions. In their turn, the workers of Tikhvin Plant will get access to new productivity improvement techniques, which will enable them to introduce additional managerial and technological solutions to reduce production costs and increase profits.

Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region: "Today, 30 enterprises of the Leningrad Region are already participating in the national project. We see positive results. With the help of lean technologies and, most importantly, without additional investments in production, the enterprises were able to reduce the time of production processes, reduce production costs and increase revenues. Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant will become the most prominent participant of the national project, and I hope the enterprise will get the maximum economic effect".

Timofey Khryapov, UWC CEO: "Implementation of the project will contribute to the development and further formation of the production culture, growth of labor productivity at the company's enterprises, which will ultimately lead to an increase in the competitiveness of products on global markets."
