Housing and social objects
Nine modern residential buildings whose total area exceeds 127 thousand sq. m were built in three neighbourhoods of the town of Tikhvin to provide housing for the employees of the industrial site. This is one of the biggest housing projects in those districts of the Leningrad Region that are not adjacent to the city of St. Petersburg. The project is in the TOP-10 corporate housing projects in Russia.
The housing facilities are designed to contain more than 2,000 residential units with comfortable floor plans (for more information see www.dom-tikhvin.ru).
The houses were built using cast-in-place concrete, which is the most popular technology nowadays, along with state-of-the-art thermal insulation materials. The housing has autonomous heating and hot water supply systems. In most residential units, fit-out works are already completed and ovens, bathroom fixtures and plumbing, heating radiators, insulated glazing, interior and entrance doors and meters for water, energy and gas are pre-installed. In all neighbourhoods, the curtilage includes parking lots, playgrounds and chill-out areas. A management company providing a full range of housing and public utility services charges less than the city average. A private emergency dispatch service will add to the comfort of future residents.
